BJCMC Nursing Facility

 The BJCMC Nursing Facility has been providing high-quality nursing care to those with health needs since 1968. Our facility consists of five nursing units with a total of 167 beds, all of which are Medicaid- and Medicare-certified. Our unique approach to the resident's individual plan of care consists of 24-hour nursing services from qualified nursing personnel to meet all residents' total nursing needs, as well as a dietician to meet the residents' nutritional needs. Physical and Speech Therapies are available through on-staff personnel for the resident requiring rehabilitation after an injury or illness. An Activity Director, along with the assistance of volunteers from the community, provides crafts, Bible studies, and numerous other activities to enhance the resident's quality of life. The Activity Director and volunteers offer residents personal, one-on-one time reading mail, painting fingernails and simply spending time talking and listening. We are committed to caring for our residents physically, emotionally and spiritually.

Because we are in the same building complex as the hospital, we are able to offer our residents many convenient services not normally associated with other nursing facilities in our area. In the event a resident needs diagnostic services such as laboratory or X-ray, they simply make a trip "down the hall," as opposed to across town. Along with the exceptional medical services we provide, we also offer our residents an array of personal services such as The Beauty Shop and laundry services.

In addition to caring for our residents, we also offer a Certified Nursing Assistance course at no charge to individuals with the desire to make a difference in the life of others. To apply for the CNA course, simply stop by the Administration Office located in the lobby of the hospital and complete an application.
